Czechoslovakia 20 Korun 1926 UNC Rare

Issued on October 1st, 1926, this 20 Korun note captures the spirit of the young First Czechoslovak Republic. Designed by Alois Mundruňka, it pays tribute to two foundational figures of the nation’s early history.

The front features a portrait of General Milan Rastislav Štefánik, a key figure in the fight for Czechoslovak independence. The reverse honors Dr. Alois Rašín, the republic’s first finance minister, known for stabilizing the new state’s economy. Printed in a vibrant blend of blue, brown, and red, this note includes multilingual text and rich symbolic imagery, such as the national coat of arms and distinct guilloche elements.

Scarce in this well-preserved Uncirculated condition, this note remains a standout collectible from the interwar period.
