Bohemia&Moravia 1 Korun 1940 Stamp UNC (1938)

Issued shortly after the Nazi occupation, this 1 Koruna note was originally a 1938 Czechoslovak banknote, later stamped in February 1940 with “Protektorat Böhmen und Mähren / Protektorát Čechy a Morava.” The front features a floral motif and a portrait of Liberty wearing a Phrygian cap, while the back displays the Czechoslovak coat of arms alongside trilingual text.

Dimensions: 105 x 59 mm.

This stamped transitional issue marks the beginning of Protectorate currency and is prized for its political and historical significance.
